South Coast Habitat Restoration is involved in planning and implementing a variety of habitat restoration projects throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. For detailed information on current and upcoming projects please check out our Projects page
South Coast Habitat Restoration provides assistance to landowners in our region to help them restore riparian vegetation, stabilize stream banks, and restore steelhead habitat. We have experience working with regulatory agencies in obtaining permits for on the ground restoration projects. We also have experience working with and managing engineers through project designs. Our work also allows us to apply for grant funding for projects from various funding sources.
South Coast Habitat Restoration is the recipient of a grant from the Department of Fish and Games Fisheries Restoration Grant Program that allows us to chair the Carpinteria Creek Watershed Coalition and plan the CCWC’s monthly meetings.
